Patti Gasparello is Retiring!
After more than 30 years, Patti Gasparello is retiring.
Patti’s ambition to become a social worker struck at an early age. She always knew what she wanted to be. An early advocate for hospice care, she participated in the community-based steering meetings that eventually established hospice in Alamance County. Eventually, her work journey would include all areas of hospice care for adults before she turned her attention to working with children. As the leader of our Kids Path program, Patti has been a dedicated member of our work family. A steadfast advocate for those facing serious illness and loss, she has embodied all the ideals of her social work profession. Countless lives have been touched by her caring presence. As a tribute to her career and to celebrate Patti as she retires, a new fund has been established – the Patti Gasparello Endowed Fund for Kids Path. This fund will support AuthoraCare’s work with children who are seriously ill or coping with loss. And as an endowed fund, it will support the Kids Path program in perpetuity.
