Light Up A Life 2024
The 40th annual Light Up A Life: An Interfaith Service of Remembrance will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at First Lutheran Church, 3600 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro. Rabbi Grace Gleason of Beth David Synagogue will serve as keynote speaker.
Beginning Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, luminaries will light the path around the Hospice Home, 918 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, and Beacon Place, 2502 Summit Ave., Greensboro. Each symbolizes those patients currently there, as well as those served in past years. Our Hospice Trees of Remembrance are located at the Hospice Home, 918 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, and the Lusk Center, 2501 Summit Ave., Greensboro.
Honor or Remember Someone With a Gift
You are invited to honor or remember a special friend or loved one by making a gift to Light Up A Life. A contribution of $10 or more will place a symbolic light on the Hospice Trees of Remembrances, located at 918 Chapel Hill Road in Burlington and at 2501 Summit Avenue in Greensboro. All donors will receive a Light Up A Life thank-you card and all honorees and remembered families will receive a Light Up A Life notification card. Deadline to make gifts, as well as visit the Hospice Trees of Remembrance is Sunday, Dec. 31, 2024.
