Kids Path has received funding from the Crescent Rotary Club of Greensboro to initiate its music relaxation project. The funds will be used to expand the library of audio-based relaxation tools by creating and recording a CD collection. The musical exercises and experiences will be incorporated into the therapeutic interventions offered to medically fragile and grieving children, as well as teens that are served through the Kids Path program. Additionally, three tranquil turtles will be purchased and used to encourage relaxation for seriously ill infants and children in their homes.

Kids Path deeply appreciates the years of support the Crescent Rotary Club of Greensboro has provided, allowing it to expand its therapeutic offerings in some important and creative ways. Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG) would like to recognize Charlie Finch, Crescent Rotary member and Kids Path volunteer, for his outstanding advocacy.

Kids Path is a program of HPCG and addresses the distinctive needs of seriously ill children from birth to age 18, while offering assistance to family members who are providing care. HPCG, a nonprofit organization serving Guilford County and surrounding areas for more than 30 years, is situated on an eight-acre campus at 2500 Summit Avenue. HPCG provides physical, emotional and spiritual support for children and adults faced with a life-limiting illness, as well as their caregivers and families. For more information, contact HPCG at 336.621.2500 or hospicegso.org.
