Caregiver Resources
Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025 | Noon to 1 p.m.
Understanding comes from knowing. The number of family members and friends taking on caregiving roles for older adults in the U.S. continues to grow. Older adults living with chronic conditions and their caregivers may face challenges in accessing the care and support they need to maintain quality of life and well-being. This three-part series will highlight current research addressing the needs and experiences of caregivers, explore the caregiver experience and reveal resources available to support caregivers and their families.
Learning Objectives
• Learn about the services caregivers can receive from Area Agencies on Aging.
• Learn about programs and how to access the available resources.
• Learn about the emotional support that caregivers can receive by participating in available programs.
