Caregiving – “It Takes A Village” (Part One)
The State of Caregiving

Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025 | Noon to 1 p.m.

Understanding comes from knowing. The number of family members and friends taking on caregiving roles for older adults in the U.S. continues to grow. Older adults living with chronic conditions and their caregivers may face challenges in accessing the care and support they need to maintain quality of life and well-being. This three-part series will highlight current research addressing the needs and experiences of caregivers, explore the caregiver experience and reveal resources available to support caregivers and their families.

Learning Objectives

• Learn about the current state of caregiving for older adults living in the U.S.
• Learn how to identify physical and mental health factors related to caregiving.
• Learn the future research needs for caregivers of older adults.
