Living After the Loss of a Parent

  • This event has passed.

The Counseling and Education Center Invites You to Participate in a Six-Session Grief Support Group:
Living After the Loss of a Parent

When a parent dies, we can lose a best friend, our biggest fan, our sense of security, the “hub” of the family and the one who best knows our personal story. We also lose the chance to ever fix or make right what was difficult about the relationship.
In this group, participants will take the time to:

  • Share their stories.
  • Come to a better understanding of the grief process.
  • Find ways to cope with the many losses that have come with this one death.
  • Remember and honor them.

Mondays
March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8 and 15
6 – 7:30 p.m.
Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro
2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405
