A Virtual Four-Week Series for those with Loved Ones in Long-Term Care Facilities

Family caregivers are coping with the toll that ongoing separation has taken on both their loved ones and themselves throughout the pandemic. Join us for a 4-week support series designed for family members who are separated from loved ones living in Long-term Care Communities (Independent, Assisted, or Skilled Nursing Facilities) due to COVID-19 restrictions. Participants will explore common feelings related to pandemic-separation including fear, anxiety, guilt, and loss and learn ways to navigate the unique strain resulting from prolonged separation. This group is for adult family members (aged 18+) who are coping with on-going separation from loved ones in facilities as well as those who are returning to in-person visits with loved ones in facilities after a long separation. Space is limited for this virtual series.

Tuesdays, June 22, 29, July 6 and 13
