Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Eight to 10 years of experience of progressively responsible executive health care financial management experience required.
  • Part B Billing experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in home health, home care, and hospice is preferred.
  • Experience with payer contracting is required.

  • Health and Wellness Benefits

    All full-time employees working 30 hours a week or more are eligible following 60 days of service. Your legally married spouse and dependent children up to age 26, regardless of student status are also eligible.

    Health Advocate

    Health Advocate is a service that provides you with personalized assistance to help you and your eligible family members resolve health care issues, saving time and money. During your first call, you will be assigned a personal health advocate who will begin helping you right away by cutting through the red tape, talking to your doctors and insurance company and getting to the heart of your issue fast.

    Dental Insurance

    AuthoraCare’s dental insurance covers the individual or the family for cleanings, fillings, dentures, orthodontics and more.

    Vision Insurance

    Vision insurance covers eye exams, frames, contact lenses and more.

    Health Savings Account

    Employees participating in certain plans are eligible to defer pre-tax dollars into a Health Savings Account (HSA) in order to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses.

    Flexible Spending Account

    Employees participating in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) are eligible to defer pre-tax dollars into an account to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses. You may also defer funds into a dependent spending account to pay for daycare expenses that are necessary in order for you and your spouse to be employed. 

  • Insurance

    All full-time employees working 30 hours a week or more are eligible on the first of the month following 60 days of service for long-term and short-term disability insurance.

    Disability Insurance

    AuthoraCare Collective provides long-term disability to all employees. Short-term disability is optional and can be used in the event you become disabled from an injury or sickness. Disability income benefits are provided as a source of income.

    All full-time employees working 30 hours a week or more are eligible following 60 days of service. Your legally married spouse and dependent children up to age 19 or 26 if a full-time student are also eligible.

    Basic Life Insurance

    AuthoraCare Collective provides full-time employees with group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance in the amount of one times your salary up to $140,000 and pays the full cost of this benefit.

    Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Critical Illness and Whole Life Insurance

    Accidental death and dismemberment insurance, critical illness and whole life insurance is available to AuthoraCare Collective employees.

  • Work/Life Balance

    AuthoraCare Collective is committed to providing employees time off with pay through the PTO program. PTO hours can be used, subject to approval by management, for absences including vacation, holidays, illness, leaves of absence or other reasons that personal time off is needed. PTO is offered to employees that work 20 or more hours per week, full-time exempt.

    Flexible Schedules

    Flexible schedules are a part of the AuthoraCare work/life program and allow staff and departments some flexibility in defining when, where and how work is done. This flexibility is a critical driver of employee well-being and performance and is responsive to the changing professional and personal demographics of the multi-generational workforce.

  • Financial Benefits

    403(b) Retirement Plan

    All employees are eligible to sign up for a 403(b) retirement plan that they may contribute to at their own discretion. All employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for employer basic contributions after completing 12 months of service.

    Direct Deposit

    All employees are paid by direct deposit. It is a paperless process that keeps AuthoraCare green.

    Employee Assistance Program

    AuthoraCare provides a multitude of services to assist employees and family members clarify and deal with personal, work or health problems. Employees who enter the workplace each day free from issues of the previous day are going to be more focused, have greater safety and improved performance. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) gives employees and their covered family members confidential, individual assistance with a wide range of personal and work-related issues. Services include access to highly experienced clinical providers that include licensed psychologists, clinical social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists and alcohol and drug counselors. Consultants include attorneys, financial advisors, elder care and child care specialists.
